Paperwork

Magic Sheet
Programming this show was done with a Repertory Plot. The first thing I did was sit down at the board and write down where each light was pointing on stage. This piece of paper was important for me as a first-time lighting designer.

Base Lighting Look for the Cafe
Every time I programmed the beginning of a song, I wanted to start with the same base café look. To do that, when I created the look, I wrote down each channel's value. This also became a piece of paper where I could write quick notes I needed to remember while programming.

The Sound of Going Around Light Plan
I was given 4 songs to design. This is the plan I made for one of the songs, including where certain characters are placed and how I needed to move the lights to accommodate the song and the characters. This kept me on track because I didn't have a recording of the rehearsal to know exactly where the actors were moving.
